Trip to the South - Day 2

Day two of our vacation was so much fun! We started our day in New Orleans walking to the Riverfront and we had planned on jumping on the trolley when we saw a pick up spot for Blaine Kerns Mardi Gras World. If you ever come to New Orleans DO NOT MISS THIS!
They dropped us back at the Trolley stop and we took it down to the French Market. I love this place for purchasing local art and inexpensive gifts. We had lunch at the Farmers Market and then made our way over to Jackson Square. We stopped at Cafe Du Monde for frozen cafe au lait and beignets. YUMMY!!!! And again, do not miss this if you come here. We walked through Jackson Square and up to Bourbon Street enjoying the spectacle of it all. I lost count of how many little shops I went into selling cheap/expensive beads and other souvenirs. We finally made it back to the hotel after 8 hours of busy sightseeing. Ordered in some Chinese food and are calling it a night.  Oh...and I am sure you think that this is allot of photos but you should see how many I left out. And just wait till I get to Disney World! LOL
