Man arrested after ejaculating during TSA pat-down : Dead Serious News

OH HELL TO THE NO!!!!!!!! If you touch my junk (or someone else's) you are asking for whatever happens!!!!

A 47 year old gay man was arrested at San Francisco International Airport after ejaculating while being patted down by a male TSA agent.  Percy Cummings, an interior designer from San Francisco, is being held without bail after the alleged incident, charged with sexually assaulting a Federal agent.
According to Cummings’ partner, Sergio Armani, Cummings has “multiple piercings on his manhood” which were detected during a full body scan.  As a result, Cummings was pulled aside for a pat-down.  Armani stated that the unidentified TSA agent spent “an inordinate amount of time groping” Cummings, who had apparently become sexually aroused.  Cummings, who has a history of sexual dysfunction, ejaculated while the TSA agent’s hand was feeling the piercings.  The TSA agent, according to several witnesses, promptly called for back up.  Cummings was thrown to the ground and handcuffed.
A TSA spokesperson declined to comment on this specifc case, but said that anyone ejaculating during a pat-down would be subject to arrest.

DWTS Dumbfuckery.

I don't watch dancing With the "Stars". I find the entire concept ridiculous. I also usually don't write blogs that are negative but several of the blogs I read had posted the following clip. The only thing I can say is that this is just a "reality" show people. Get over it. The very fact that we are calling Bristol Palin a star is amazing to me. I don't even consider her mother a star and she has more right to claim it than her daughter. As far as the voting goes, it seems clear to me that the Tea Baggers have plenty of time to watch this stupid show as they are not paying any attention to current events or any news stations other than Fox. Let them have this one tiny win. I certainly hope it is the only one they have,

Kate Micucci- Don't bite!

Barbra Streisand on Oprah

Hello. My name is Michael and I am a Barbraholic. I have always loved me some Barbra Streisand. I have seen every one of her movies, even Up the Sandbox. (yuck!) I have read a book or two about Barbra. I owned many, many, many of her CDs and if you ever catch me singing in the shower it will most likely be a Barbra song. So, needless to say, I was not going to miss Barbra on Oprah. Was it a great interview? You bet it was! Although I turn into Linda Richmond when I see her. " Now I'm  faklempt, I'm a little faklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic, The Prince of Tides was neither about princes nor tides. Discuss".

But I digress...It really was good. First Oprah gave a little Streisand history lesson with plenty of photos and clips of this dynamic 5 decade career. Then out came Barbra. They started out with a little Oprah/Babs chat (had to get the deep questions out of the way) then Oprah had gotten clips from several of Barbra's leading men. Jeff Bridges, Kris Kristofferson, Mandy Patinkin and Nick Nolte (who looks liked hammered shit).  Next came Barbra singing "The Way We Were" and I have to say for a woman of almost 70 she still sounds great. Not quite the powerhouse she once was but age will do that to you. What Barbra didn't know was that Oprah had Robert Redford there as a surprise. Now Mr. Redford was born on August 18, 1936 but I have to say that man is still a hunk. I realize that he was probably wearing a Redford wig and his teeth were bought and paid for but I would still totally hit that. Anyhooooo...their segment was sweet and they still have the same spark they did 37 years ago when they made "The Way We Were".
Finally, Barbra talks about her book, "My Passion for Design" and takes us on a tour of her new home. This clip was just crazy! I loved how she has created an old fashoned red barn, and a beautiful farm around it, out of nothing. She explained that she has chickens who lay green eggs and there is a pond with fish. Because the house trim is black and white the fish had to be black and white as well. That is pure DIVA. What I loved the most is that she has made her basement into a street of shops because she has so much "stuff" and just wanted to show it off. I need that! By the way, if anyone would like to get me a special Christmas gift I will happily take Barbra's new book. A portion of the proceeds go to Woman's Cardiovascular Research.

'Mama Wu' unlikely hero for homosexuals in China - CNN.com

Such a wonderful, heartwarming story. Thank you Mama Wu!

Beijing, China (CNN) -- When Wu Youjian's teenage son told her on a spring night in 1999 that he was gay, Wu did something rarely heard of in China.
"I told him, there's nothing wrong with liking boys and it's no big deal," said the 63-year-old retired magazine editor.
Five years later, when her son discussed his sexuality on local television in the southern metropolis of Guangzhou, Wu made another groundbreaking decision. She became what state media calls the first Chinese parent to go on television in support of her gay child.
Zheng Yuantao, 30, knows how lucky he is to have such a mother.
"Many of my gay friends are afraid of going home during holidays, because their parents would ask about girlfriends and press them to get married," he said.
"I grew up in a very open-minded family," he added. "I didn't have too much of a struggle about my sexuality."
Wu now devotes her time and energy to speaking up for gay acceptance by family and society. Her small frame belies her big role in China's gay community, where she is affectionately called "Mama Wu."
She taught herself to use a computer three years ago and now writes a blog that has clocked more than 2.2 million hits. She also tweets frequently, has launched a hotline and founded the country's first PFLAG - Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays - group in her hometown.
Gallery: 'Mama Wu' fights for acceptance
"I just followed my instinct and my love for my son," Wu said.
For other Chinese parents in her situation, however, instinct usually means a deep sense of shame. Many refuse to face the reality and some sever ties with their gay children. Others scheme to break up their children's relationships. Some may insist on psychiatric treatments, while others may threaten to commit suicide if their children don't change.
'Mama Wu' inspires other Chinese parents of gay children
"In China, we consider carrying on the family line of paramount importance, but we don't value the happiness of individuals," said Li Yinhe, a sociologist with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Societal pressure cooker
Suicide is high among Chinese homosexuals, Li said, with some surveys saying as many as 30 percent of gay youth attempt to take their lives. That trend mirrors the United States, where a spate of suicides by gay adolescents in recent months has shaken the nation.
Most gay men in China still succumb to social pressure and marry women. It once meant heterosexual marriages, often with children, Li said. Now, gay community activists say a small but growing number of young gay men in big cities are tying the knot with lesbians to both placate families and maintain their lifestyles.
Li conducted China's first comprehensive surveys on gay men. She published her findings in a 1992 book, which Wu credited for shaping her views on homosexuality.
While society at large has loosened up on homosexuality, Li said, family pressure on gay people remains strong because of deep-rooted Confucian ideas and the government's one-child policy - making Wu's words and actions all the more powerful.
"No one would listen to an outsider, but she is not - she is a mother whose only son is gay," Li said. "Others would wonder, if she can handle it so well, why can't I."
It's not all accolades for Wu, however. Vitriolic attacks often dog her online. On a popular video-sharing site, under a clip paying tribute to her achievements, a recent comment accused her of "leading our youth to a place filthier than a brothel" and "hastening the moral death of our already-sick society."
Wu brushes such verbal assaults aside. Her son, often a target himself along with Wu, understands why.
"It's not about how many people she can change," Zheng said. "The important thing is that she is out there helping real people every day."

Prince William engaged to Kate Middleton - CNN.com

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I was going to be the next Queen of England! He promised the ring to me!!!

Britain's Prince William is engaged to Kate Middleton, the British royal family announced Tuesday, and has given her the engagement ring his late mother Diana, princess of Wales, got from his father, Prince Charles, palace sources told CNN.
The announcement ends years of speculation about whether and when the prince would propose to his longtime girlfriend.
The prince and Middleton, both 28, have been dating since 2003. Rumors have been rife for years that they have been close to marriage.
"We're obviously thrilled," said Prince Charles, as he toured Poundbury with Atlanta, Georgia, Mayor Kasim Reed. "They've been practicing long enough."
"They make a lovely couple, they're great fun to be with and we've had a lot of laughs together," said Middleton's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. "We've got to know William really well. We all think he's wonderful and we're extremely fond of him. We wish them every happiness for the future."

STEVE HAYES: Tired Old Queen at the Movies - #57

Time again for another post from our good friend Steve Hayes. This week's movie is PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (1940). This is one of my favorite versions of Pride and Prejudice mainly because I have always been madly in love with Greer Garson. I love the sweet quality she brings to every roll she plays. Another great actress in this movie is Mary Boland. She will best be remembered as the Countess DeLave in "The Women". Steve's impersonation of Mary Boland is not to be missed! Check out his Facebook page for some photos of him as the Countess.

AFP: Finnish state church sanctions prayer for gay marriages

HELSINKI — After years of debate, Finland's state church took a step towards accepting gay relationships with an announcement Friday it would create a "prayer moment" for registered partnerships.
"The proposal offers a positive opportunity to minister to church members who are sexual minorities," the General Synod, the Evangelical Lutheran Church's highest administrative body, said in a statement.
The General Synod must now draw up a formula for a prayer that walks a fine doctrinal line, observers said.
Lutheran ministers will have the choice of performing the prayer with gay couples in a church, but it will not actually constitute a church's blessing of the union itself, synod spokesman Marko Kailasmaa told AFP.
The decision was approved, not without conflict, by the synod's representatives of ministers and bishops in a vote of 78 for and 30 against.

Mark Twain Prize | Tina Fey Answers Your Questions | PBS

I totally have this set to record! Love me some Tina Fey.

Mark Twain paid a surprise visit to the Kennedy Center on Tuesday night to honor Tina Fey with the nation's top humor prize that bears his name.

A mustached Alec Baldwin playing Twain said he thought he would be remembered for being a tender lover and was surprised to learn the prize honors top comics.

"Tina, well that's a funny name for a man," he said, shocked to hear it was a woman who had won because "their brains aren't shaped right."

A hundred years after the author's death, the woman famous for her Emmy Award-winning impression of Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live," accepted the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor – even though she feels her style is "so typically Austrian."

She thanked Palin for her success and said she has it on good authority that Sen. John McCain has a picture of Fey in his office and had been getting ideas long before he picked the former Alaska governor as his running mate.

"I guess what I'm saying is, this whole thing might be my fault," she said.

She also thanked the Kennedy Center, which she said will soon be known as "the tea party bowling alley and rifle range."

"SNL" comics lined up to celebrate their colleague's work over nine seasons. They played clips from her time anchoring "Weekend Update" and some of the commercials she wrote, including a spoof on "mom jeans."

Amy Poehler recalled meeting Fey back when they were both part of The Second City improve group in Chicago in the 1990s.

DART's Green Line getting ready for December rollout | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News | Breaking News for Dallas-Fort Worth | Dallas Morning News

Taking the new DART train from Pleasant Grove in southern Dallas to Carrollton won't be fast, but it often will be surprisingly scenic.
The one-way trip will stretch 28 miles, making the DART Green Line the longest run of light rail under construction in North America, and will take about 74 minutes. A trip that starts in downtown Carrollton at 6:48 a.m., for instance, will get to the West End in downtown Dallas at 7:23.

Along the way, the trains, which with three cars will be DART's largest, will snake along leafy residential areas in southeastern Dallas, through the Trinity Forest and, north of Dallas, glide as fast as 65 mph on elevated tracks high above the terrain into park-like Farmers Branch.
These were first impressions delivered Wednesday, as Dallas Area Rapid Transit executives gave an early tour of the $1.8 billion rail line to a group of editors, photographers and writers from The Dallas Morning News

Where Are People the Nicest?

Here is a great "talkie blog" from Davey Wavey. I agree with him. You get back what you put out into the world. You occasionally hear people in Dallas talk about "Dallitude" (Dallas attitude). I have found that for the most part people who live in Dallas are very easygoing and friendly (until they get behind the wheel of their car). It is usually the people who point the finger at others and cry "Dallitude: that actually have the attitude.

Cenk Uygur To Gays: The GOP "Just Isn't That Into You"

I couldn't agree with Cenk Uygur more! I am appalled when I hear that any gay or lesbian is voting for a Republican. Now is not the time. We know that the republican party as a whole is against us. We have to work for the right to be treated as equal to the hetero Americans before we worry about fiscal responsibility.

City resumes upkeep of historic West Dallas cemetery of European colonists

I am so happy to see that someone will be taking care of this cemetery. This is an important historic site for Dallas. Bart and I hunted the site down several months ago and all it is was a mass of overgrown weeds and trees in a chain link enclosure. You couldn't even get to it.

The esteemed visitor arrived to the riotous sounds of mowers and trimmers.
Pierre Grandjouan, Houston-based consul general of France, had come to see La Reunion Cemetery in West Dallas – to check out the last remnant of a long-gone colony of French, Swiss and Belgian settlers.
A crew from the city's Park and Recreation Department was there on another mission – to resume upkeep of the historic burial ground.
After months, if not years, of uncertainty and neglect, Dave Strueber, director of the department's western operations, decided last week that the city would resume care of the cemetery.
"We will take it under our wing and maintain it the way it should be," he said.
Strueber's decision brings some oversight to property that had been left to nature's ways and earlier last week was overrun with high grass, weeds and litter.
The grounds crew groomed away Thursday as Grandjouan, in a striped blue suit, strolled the sacred site with Frances James, a local cemetery historian and watchdog, and Chris Thevenet, a student of La Reunion history and descendant of a colonist.
The consul had read about the settlement and begun studying its history. He wanted to see the area, and the final resting place for colony settlers seemed like a good place to start.
"This is Reverchon," said James, pointing out the stone marker for Julien Reverchon (eponym of the Dallas park) and his wife, Marie. "This is Michel," she continued as they walked past their son's burial site.
The group paused here and there, in the shade and sunlight, to look at tombstones, some lying on the ground.
"When you look at where Dallas came from, it's a very important thing," the consul said of the colony that took shallow root across the Trinity River from the fledgling town in 1855.

Straight British couple seeks 'gay' partnership | News Story on 365gay.com

(London) Tom Freeman and Katherine Doyle are in love and want to tie the knot – but they don’t want to get married.
The 26-year-old Londoners think they should be allowed to have a civil partnership, a form of legal union available in Britain only to same-sex couples. Gay rights activists are backing the couple’s bid in an attempt to legalize gay marriage.
Activist Peter Tatchell says “denying heterosexual couples the right to have a civil partnership is heterophobic.”
Marriage and civil partnership are virtually identical in law, and activists think both should be open to all couples.
Doyle and Freeman are applying for a permit Tuesday from their local town hall. They say they will go to court if they are refused.
Britain introduced civil partnerships in 2005.

Ice carvers re-create 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' for Gaylord Texan's winter wonderland.

This is always one of my favorite things here in Dallas during the holiday season! so happy they decided to do the Charlie Brown Christmas this year.
Walk through the Charlie Brown Christmas display at the Gaylord Texan and you feel as if you're an extra in the holiday classic. An icy, frozen extra. Watch Lucy consult Charlie at her psychiatric booth. Catch Snoopy hanging out at his doghouse, decked with ornaments. It's all made of ice – 5,000 blocks of colored ice, weighing 2 million pounds.
To keep the Peanuts gang intact, it's a balmy 9 degrees in this winter wonderland.

This looks adorable! Can't wait to see it.
The clip is from the upcoming “Never Been Kissed” episode. Jill Clayburgh, Oscar-Nominated Actress, Dies at 66 - NYTimes.com

So sad. Such a beautiful, talented actress. RIP
Jill Clayburgh, an Oscar-nominated actress known for portraying strong, independent women, died on Friday at her home in Lakeville, Conn. She was 66.
The cause was chronic leukemia, with which she had lived for 21 years, her husband, the playwright David Rabe, said.
Ms. Clayburgh, who began her career in films and on Broadway in the late 1960s, was among the first generation of young actresses — including Ellen Burstyn, Carrie Snodgress and Marsha Mason — who regularly portrayed characters sprung from the new feminist ethos: smart, capable and gritty, sometimes neurotic, but no less glamorous for all that.

Dr. Rachel Maddow Speaks Out About Olbermann Suspension

“Let this incident lay to rest forever the facile, never-true-anyway, bull-pucky, lazy conflation of Fox News and what the rest of us do for a living. I know everybody likes to say, ‘Oh, that’s cable news, it’s all the same. Fox and MSNBC, mirror images of each other.’ Let this lay that to rest forever. Hosts on Fox News raise money for Republican candidates. They endorse them explicitly, they use their Fox News profile to headline fundraisers. Heck, there are multiple people being paid by Fox News now to essentially run for office as Republican candidates….They can do that because there’s no rule against that as Fox. They run as a political operation; we’re not.”

STEVE HAYES: Tired Old Queen at the Movies - #56

I just love a who-dunnit and this week Steve Hays brings us Green For Danger (1946).
Set in August 1944 during the V-1 Doodlebug London, a murder takes place in offensive on Heron's Park Emergency Hospital, a rural British hospital somewhere in the Southeast of England. Joseph Higgins (Marriot) dies on the operating table after being injured by a flying bomb. The anaesthetist, Barney Barnes (Howard), has had a patient die in similar circumstances previously. Inspector Cockrill is asked to investigate when Sister Bates (Campbell) is killed after revealing that the death of Higgins was not an accident. Cockrill states at one point "My presence lay over the hospital like a pall - I found it all tremendously enjoyable." Cockrill's investigation is hampered by the conflict between Barnes and Eden (Genn) because of their competition over the affections of nurse Freddi (Gray). After another murder attempt leaves Freddi supposedly dangerously ill, he restages the operation in order to unmask the murderer.

What a Guy!
Name and age: Richard Guy, 47
Spotted at: Lee Park
Was a man, was a big man: A third generation Texan from Austrian stock, Richard stands an impressive 6 feet 4 inches of furry, pierced muscle. Originally from Amarillo, he has resided in Dallas for 28 years.
An animal loving Capricorn, Richard shares his life with a newly-adopted border collie, Romo, and a tortoise-shell cat named Maggie. A natural homebody, this engineering-minded man spends his time at home remodeling (he’s building an amazing addition on his house), and is equipped with electrical and plumbing skills.
